Enjoy a country aerodrome with no noise issues, no controlled airspace, class G to 18’000 feet above the field and to the South, 
8’500 from 5 nm to the North, Northbound.

An active “Colac Aero Club” is resident on the airfield and enjoys a 50 plus membership. 
The Aero Club currently conducts RAA flight training and is soon to recommence GA flight training at the aerodrome. 
Colac Aero Club also conducts flight training for people with disabilities, the club aircraft is fitted with hand operated rudder controls.

Colac Municipal Aerodrome Committee of Management has plans for a future hangar development commencing July 2018. 
A two hectare extension to the existing hangar precinct incorporating dual taxiways and parallel rows of hangars.

Colac Aerodrome is positioned approximately 5NM NW of the township of Colac.
A one hour drive East to Geelong City, even quicker once the duplication of the Princes Highway is completed. 
A one hour drive North to Ballarat, 30 minutes average flight time YBLT, one and a half hours drive West to Warrnambool, 40 minutes average flight time YWBL. 
A one hour drive to The Great Ocean Road or a 10-20 minute flight to Apollo Bay Airfield, Peterborough Airfield and the rugged and spectacular Southern coastline.
