About the event
This third ‘Lessons For Life’ Aviation Safety (AvSafety) Seminar series will explore three major aviation safety related themes:
- Flying within your limits
- Making the RIGHT decisions in-flight
- Hazards on arrival.
By making use of accident case studies from ATSB investigations, our Aviation Safety Advisors will take participants through many of the safety related decisions faced by pilots at three crucial phases, namely before departing, in-flight, and at the crucial arrival and landing phase of flight.
As well as these main themes, ‘Lessons for Life’ Series III will also provide an opportunity for a brief update on key safety messages and topics from AirServices Australia, the Bureau of Meteorology and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
The seminars are an ideal opportunity for industry to interact with CASA, discuss local issues and ask questions of the regulator.
Registration for AvSafety Seminars will be through Eventbrite and attendance is free.
